How to train your solver: A method of manufactured solutions for weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics

The Weakly-Compressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (WCSPH) method is a Lagrangian that typically used for the simulation of incompressible fluids. While developing an SPH-based scheme or solver, researchers often verify their code with exact solutions, solutions from other numerical techniques, experimental data. This requires significant amount computational effort and does not test full capabilities solver. Furthermore, this yield insights on convergence In paper we introduce manufactured (MMS) to comprehensively WCSPH-based solver in robust efficient manner. MMS well established context mesh-based solvers.
